Description:

MUNNAR: Munnar wins you over with its tea, pepper, coffee and cardamom estates. The tea gardens run down rolling slopes, covering them in a blanket of effervescent green. Ana Mudi, the highest peak in South India, flanks the town. Visit Eravikulam National Park to spot some beautiful flora and fauna, including the Tahr, an endangered species of mountain goats, as well as langurs and sambars. THEKKADY: Watch wildlife at close quarters in Thekkady. The picturesque Periyar wildlife sanctuary abounds with verdant backwoods, aromatic spice plantations and rolling coffee slopes. The landscape is peppered with hills and offers beautiful treks. Tigers, elephants, deer, Asiatic wild elephants and the distinctive Nilgiri langur are found here. ALLEPEY: This scenic town of Alleppey has beautiful backwaters, lagoons fringed by dense coconut trees, sparkling canals and stunning beaches. An ideal way of spending time here is floating down the backwaters in a quaint houseboat in the"Venice of the East". KOVALAM : Unspoilt & miraculously unexplored, Kovalam & Poovar are enveloped by serene backwaters and tucked alleyways leading to small coconut groves. Besides a plethora of eating options, you can shop for some exquisite silver jewellery, fabrics and Indian handicrafts. COCHIN: Explore this dainty town of tiled bungalows and antiques warehouses. The city, founded in 1341 is divided into three distinct districts - the modern Ernakulam and the atmospheric Fort Cochin and Mattancherry, which form prime attractions.

1Cochin

On day 01 of the Best of Kerala tour, get greeted by the tour operator on arrival in airport/Railway Station in Cochin. Transfer to the hotel. After lunch go across Cochin Harbor. On arrival at Fort Cochin, head for a sightseeing tour. Visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church etc. Leisure for rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

2Cochin-Munnar

After taking breakfast, set for Munnar on the morning of day 02 of Best of Kerala Tour. Enroute enjoy the Cardamom hills and green tea plantations. On arrival check in at the hotel. Leisure for rest of the day. Overnight stay at Munnar.

3Munnar

Morning of Day 03 begins with sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, dairy farm, Old Munnar Town, Town Market etc. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

On day 06 of Best of Kerala Tours, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Thiruvanathapuram. Visit Museum Complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science and Technology Museum, Veli Tourist Village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach etc. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

7Departure Kovalam - Trivandrum
